Our Spring Harvest Blend Matcha is a Pluck exclusive, directly sourced from a Certified Organic farm in Kagoshima, Japan. Grown at the southern tip of the country near an active volcano, this vibrant matcha offers light umami, fresh grassy notes, and a beautifully bright green colour.

This Pluck Tea exclusive matcha was crafted especially for the Canadian market when we first started offering matcha over 10 years ago. It is a unique blend of two spring harvests from Kagoshima, Japan. At the time of development, most matcha in Canada was consumed in a latte format. This blend features the complex umami flavours of the spring harvests while being bold enough to shine through milk in lattes. Saemidori + Yabukita

Yabukita (やぶきた) is the most widely grown cultivar, accounting for over 70% of Japan’s tea crops. It’s known for its balanced profile, fresh grassy notes, and strong umami.

Saemidori (さえみどり) produces a vivid green matcha with a sweeter, umami-rich flavour and light astringency.
