Oolong Tea
Oolong teas are made from the very same plant that makes green and black teas, but their oxidation levels fall somewhere in the middle. They are often tightly rolled into pearl-like clusters, which unfurl during steeping to reveal beautiful whole leaves.
Most oolongs are a unique pluck of three to five leaves and a bud which is different from the typical two leaves and a bud for other tea types. These teas steep to a beautiful golden colour and have notes of orchid, peach and, depending on the oxidation, woody and nutty notes.
