This season's teas include:

Nepal: White Tea

This organically grown white tea is hand-plucked with great care (one leaf and one bud), and expresses a fresh, smooth, lightly floral and honeyed character. Sourced from local farmer co-operatives, this tea is produced using the Darjeeling cultivar and is produced by a factory that provides medical benefits to its workers, as well as school supplies for their children.

Portugal: Organic Green Tea

Sao Miguel Island is home to the oldest, and the only tea plantation left in Europe. It is also one of the most sustainable tea estates in the world as its factory is powered entirely by water from a local waterfall. Teas are finished using antique tea equipment that is powered by a simple belt system, and hand-packed. This gentle green tea features light vegetal and toasty notes.

Taiwan: Four Seasons Spring Oolong

This lightly oxidized oolong is produced on a muti-generational family farm that grows their teas using only sustainable and natural methods - without the use of chemical fertilizers. While this drastically reduces this farm’s yield, the result is a fresh, elegant, and lightly floral oolong – quite different from conventionally grown oolongs grown nearby.

Rwanda: Organic Black Tea

This high altitude organic black tea boasts stunning full flavour, colour, and balance. A tea for true pekoe lovers. The estate that produces this tea provides access to free education for the children of the tea pluckers, access to clean water throughout their community, and health insurance. Rwanda is a newer tea region, established in 1952.

Malawi: Smoked Black Tea

This incredibly unique hand-plucked black tea has been carefully smoked with wood harvested from locally growing Guava trees. The result is truly unique… a campfire in a cup with peaty notes, and minimal astringency. This estate provides schooling for local children, preserves wildlife corridors, and uses solar power.
