“Pluck tea created a unique Burberry inspired blend for our “High Tea VS. High Fashion” event. Not only was the tea as equally satisfying to taste as it was to smell, but the packaging was customised to the events colour scheme and our logo was used adding a special “Shangri-La” touch to this amenity that was used as giveaway for our Swag Bags allowing our guests to have a little piece of our special event to enjoy in their home. Pluck was the perfect partner for this event as they were perfectly aligned with providing a product that showcases luxury and attention to detail. We look forward to working with them on our next event!”
— Sheena Brady, Service Manager – Food & Beverage, Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto

“We recently started offering Pluck tea at Nota Bene and have been thrilled not only with the teas, but the incredible service that Jennifer and her team provide. Pluck’s classic and inventive tea offerings are top quality and the blends are well thought out. Be forewarned… once you have their Creamy Milk Oolong there’s no going back!”
— Laurie Hillesheim, General Manager, Nota Bene Restaurant
Talk about passion. While most kids were playing tag and drawing pictures, Jennifer Commins spent her childhood collecting Red Rose tea sculptures and learning to blend the mint, thyme, sage, rosemary and lavender from her grandmother’s tea garden. After almost two decades in the design industry, Jennifer decided to follow her vision to start a modern loose-leaf tea company committed to social and environmental stewardship, as well as exceptional quality.
A Tea Sommelier by training and a member of the Tea Association of Canada, Jennifer is fiercely dedicated to celebrating local flavours by sourcing quality ingredients from nearby farms, and by developing unique and special blends inspired by the regions and cities she loves most. She works with chefs, restaurateurs and wine sommeliers to concoct new and unique tea experiences for Canada’s hottest restaurants. And yes – she still has the Red Rose sculpture collection.
